The Title I Reading and Math Program is a special program funded by the government for additional help in Reading and Math.  Students in grades Kindergarten through Sixth Grade are scheduled into the program with parental permission.  Time is spent giving special help in those subject areas according to a student's need, objectives being presented in the classroom, and required standards and benchmarks at the student's particular grade level.  Close contact with the student's parents, teacher, and principal help in the direction of the program.  Students work one-on-one or in small groups with the teacher.
